The Sonoran Chiltepin pepper—often called the “mother of all peppers”—is a legendary wild heirloom native to the Sonoran Desert. 

These tiny, round, pea-sized peppers ripen from green to bright red and pack an intense, sharp heat rated at 50,000–100,000 SHU. 

Flavor is bold, smoky, and slightly fruity, perfect for salsas, hot sauces, drying, and traditional Southwestern cuisine. Plants are vigorous, drought-tolerant, and highly productive, thriving in containers or garden beds.
